The teen became so desperate that she was ready to give up on life; she hated living. It was hard for her to reach out to people; nobody knew what she was going through. She quit school; she was waiting for death to snatch her!Aubrey, Trina’s father applied for leave without pay from his job to provide palliative care for his wife during her months of ailment. He was unable to keep it together. Aubrey became clinically depress after losing his wife to cancer. He lost his job and stopped caring for himself and his daughter. He became a drunkard; his daughter had to care for him. He eventually gave up on life.A teacher from Trina’s school came to her rescue as she was at the lowest point in her life. Her teacher Miss Bernard invited Trina to live with her; she mentored her in academics; she showed her love and kindness. Trina had hope in living again; she went back to school and graduated at the top of her class and furthered her education. She later became a counselor to help young teens that were affected by death of a love one.
